Hedge Fund Association launches advisory board

The Hedge Fund Association (HFA), an industry group, has formed an academic advisory board to educate students about alternatives. 

The board plans to hold HFA symposiums on campuses throughout the US and will invite hedge fund managers and investors to speak to students about the industry.

Keith Novick, a senior consultant at MJK Consulting has been named chairman of the board.  

Board members also include Ezra Zask, president of SFC Associates and managing principal of the Due Diligence Hedge Fund Exchange, Scott Fullman, an executive director for derivatives strategy at Oppenheimer and an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University, James Jalil, a partner in the law firm Thompson Hine and Jim Liew, assistant Professor in Finance at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
