AIMA makes appointments to global council

The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) has appointed three new directors to its global council, its governing body.

The new appointments are Simon Lorne, vice-chairman and chief legal officer at Millennium Management; Tim O’ Brien, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Pine River Management, and Stuart Fiertz, president and co-founder of Cheyne Capital Management in the UK.

AIMA’s council is comprised of members from the Americas, Asia-Pacific and EMEA and includes key figures at hedge funds, investors and service providers.
